Hi, I’m Dr. Katie Boyd.
I help people who feel stuck in patterns of people-pleasing, overthinking, and second-guessing themselves. If you're tired of abandoning yourself to keep the peace, you're in the right place.
Therapy with me isn’t about coping—it’s about healing. Together we’ll uncover where your self-doubt began, untangle codependency patterns if they’re present, and build the self-trust you never learned to prioritize.

Your Questions, Answered
Do you only work with codependency and self-trust issues?
Not at all.
While I specialize in anxiety, codependency recovery, self-trust, boundaries, and narcissistic abuse, I’m trained as a generalist and bring over 15 years of experience treating a wide range of concerns. Many of my clients come in with anxiety, relationship struggles, life transitions, or perfectionism—and we often uncover deeper patterns of self-abandonment underneath.
If you're unsure whether I'm the right fit, you're welcome to reach out and ask any questions you have. We’ll determine together if I can be of help to you.
Do you take insurance?
I’m an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t bill insurance directly. However, I can provide you with a superbill that you can submit for possible reimbursement, depending on your plan. Many of my clients choose to pay privately in order to maintain more flexibility, privacy, and control over their care.
What Can I expect in our first session?
I know getting to that first appointment often comes after a lot of thought, reflection, and emotional build-up. It’s completely normal to feel nervous or unsure. My goal is to meet you where you are.
We’ll start with what’s bringing you in right now—so you can get some immediate relief by putting words to it. From there, I’ll ask some background questions, explore your goals, and share my initial impressions about what I’m hearing and how I can help.
It’s a conversation, not a performance. You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin.
Let’s Talk.
Not sure where to start? That’s okay. Reach out with your questions or tell me a bit about what’s going on—I’ll respond within 1–2 business days.
